Got back home awhile ago from Anthony's place. Steamboat was goooood, topped with cheesecake and wine. yums. Finally caught up with Mia as well. I can't believe school's starting tmr. 5 months flew by just like that. It's almost half a year. Played enough I guess, it's REALLY REALLY time to find a job and start saving up for oct trip. and DIVING!
Can't wait for may can't wait for may~ Heard we might be diving Igara Wreck cool or what? Maybe, just maybe we can have a second encounter with.... WHALE SHARK :D hahahaha. Maybe we'll end up in Aur again, but that doesn't matter I just really wanna visit the underwater world after so long. OH, and also try out my fins. Bet they are dying for their first dip into the ocean.
I just did research. Volunteering in Nepal would be around 3020, whereas for Vietnam it would be only bout 1400. Damn those plane tickets, if not for them, South Africa would be a piece of cake. I have in mind great destinations, which eventually became neighbouring countries how shitty. I wanna be everywhere, but in order to have money to have a LIFE, I guess I would have to settle for nearer places for now and slowly fly furtherrrrr.

I went Penin yesterday (it's after 12midnight now), with yh & herng to get his Viper50. I told him I went out with my friends, yh told him he was schooling, herng told him he was out with HIS friends. He believed it all. How stupid?
Okay anyway I watched tv and stuff at home till it was 10plus and headed to Simei. I did a very stupid thing and almost ruined the surprise. I msged Sike 'Are you still with that fag?' when that msg was meant for HERNG. When I see Sike's reply I WTF DID I JUST DO? oh well. Ignored him and called Herng. Found Sike's block and sat on the swing till it was almost 12.
10mins to 12, I called that fag down, blindfolded him and led him to the playground. I made him touch this and that and asked him to guess what they were. The swing, the slide, etc haha okay lame I know. And then lastly I guided his fingers to the guitar. He thought it was the slide.. another stupid moment ha. Took the blindfold off, he went OMG and WHAT THE FUCK. hahahaha. I can feel his love for Damai at that moment LOL. Chilled awhile, called Herng down for supper.
The two of us slacked awhile and he displayed his lousy guitar skills :) HAHA.

I went jogging. I jogged for 10mins and i reached the beach and then it started drizzling. I slowed to a walk and wondered if I should head home. I decided to continue. And a minute later it was pouring. Ran to a shelter for awhile. Then I stepped out and ran to the sea. Just walked along the beach. I plucked out my earpieces cause I liked the pitter patter sound. I was drenched. I liked being drenched. I liked the sand in between my toes. I liked getting mud on my legs and not caring. I liked the fact that there was not a single human around except for me.
Enjoyed that moment of solitude. I think the workout was more beneficial for my soul than for my body haha.
Reached home and jumped into the hot shower. Supposed to walk charlie but felt so clean, am reluctant to head out again. But charlie will get his walk anyway cause his friend is paying him and me a visit and we're gna bring him out for some exercise lol. |

Feeling like an asshole for saying what I said this morning and the way I said it. Consumed by my thoughts on the bus ride home. I haven't felt this way for awhile. Now I'm feeling safe in my crib wearing an old baggy tshirt with the company of my tiger thinking bout nothing but the bowl of spaghetti sitting in front of me and the book in my hand. Feels like, it doesn't matter how the world looks at me.. for now. Maybe I should just spend today like this. Or maybe, I should head out for some fresh air and go meet the people whom I know will make me smile. |

Happy birthday kj! We had picnic yesterday at pasir ris beach. Baked cupcakes and made pasta with mummy's help, didn't taste that bad hoho. Laid down on the waterbreaker and flew kites, while others played rugby. Love that spot. Caught a midnight movie which ended at 1.30am and then Kj realised his bag was nowhere to be found. Sike was the culprit lmao. He put it down on the floor while playing bishi bashi and forgot about it. Arcade was closed soooo, there was no way we could get the bag. You should have seen sike's super guilty face lol. The guys cabbed to crossfire after dropping me at my place. Met up in the morning at ehub again. All looked like zombies. Arcade was open, found Kj's bag, and brunch at fish & co. express.
Was a good day.
Suddenly, I can't wait for year 2 to start. I had chosen early childhood purely because i didn't want to be stuck with a 9am-5pm desk-bound job. But now im really starting to enjoy kids. Like teaching them songs and doing art and crafts with them. Weird huh. Looking forward to be Teacher Michelle wahahaha. |

Yesterday was petal day. Ya know it's usually Ignites vs. Petal kias but yesterday they combined and had a match against outside team. Everyone thought they would win, such a strong team. But well, lost. Saw their faces when the match ended, blah. Cheer up guys. But it was nice during the match. It was always Petal supporters at one side of the court, Ignites supporters at the other side, cheering for the 2 different teams. But yesterday it was all of us cheering for one team, DAMAI OEIIII!!
And the last quarter was super exciting. At the last few minutes we were on par, then down by 2 points. Then CHOP! 3pointerrrrr. Cheering like mad. Then fuckkkk lah they score again. Chicken neh neh. How close you tell me how close. blah.
Okay should i bake cupcakes tmr. Then can bring them for kj's 18th on monday. Picnic! But im kinda lazy.. oh wells, we'll see. |

Awhile after I dreamt of New Zealand, I began thinking what's the point. Like, do I really wanna spend my 18th just plain having fun? And I thought I should do something meaningful if I'm going to do anything at all. So I did some research and came across this great website with volunteer placements in many countries. I would really love South Africa.. but the airfares are horrendous. It's like around 2000bucks? Total cost would be at least 4000! zzz, If anyone have any ideas how to get cheap airfares there pls do let me know. If I really can't afford it maybe I would just go for India or Thailand. But seriously South Africa would be so cool wouldn't it... In any case, no more NZ for sure. I'm gna give back a little something to this world.

I kinda lost track of time. I'm just taking it day by day and I can't rmb dates. Like how I set alarm to wake up at 7am this morning to go jogging but when I woke up I saw Kang's msg and I 'OH SHIT it's 18th alreadyyyy?!' It's dive camp, which I thought was still a long way off. And then I missed Cla's party as well.. Owe her a huge apology....
I realised I can be very absorbed at times with some friends, and I would just forget about everything else. I don't mind at all, and that's the problem. That was the reason why this week was so screwed cause I forgot about my other commitments. what the hell is wrong with me. Zzz.
Soooo, i couldn't even rmb what I was doing the past few days except the part where I stayed over at weiliang's with sike herng and kj after catching dragonball with the rest. Cramping on the sofa and the bed watching 'recording', turning in at 3am, pulling away their blankets bolsters and pillows in an effort to wake them up for morning swim, k-ing, pig's organ souping, and rocher tau hueying.
I really can't wait to see what will happen next year, when the guys get their rides. They kept talking and talking bout it. It's gna be so fun~ |

i've been staying out alot lately. Didn't dare to tell mum that I wasnt going home again so stuck the note on the fridge and ran out of the house lol. Sooo, have been working at IT fair. Was okay esp. when I have crappy people to talk to. The plan was to stayover at weiliang's plc after work yesterday but we slacked too much after work and missed the horror movie. So i decided to go home. But not before rocher tau huey~ chatted till 2.30am before heading home. Well Raymond was the one doing the talking. kj herng and me were listening. He has AMAZINGGGG memory! Talked bout lower sec times, talked bout ignites, talked about things i couldnt even rmb doing. It was fun.
I didn't realise how screwed up we were in 1e5/2e5 until I heard the stories today. But it was super funny. The story i liked best was bout mdm siti hahahah. Somemore we saw mdm siti while working yesterday. Anyway she was quite big in size. So the guys kept calling her dinosaur. And she wore a color a day to school. Say, she decided today is green day. So she would be dressed from head to toe in green. And they would say she's photosynthesising. lmao. Then her feet were kinda big, so they called her Big foot, and Jo even used a ruler and went up to measure her foot. hahaha entertaining.
And there's this teacher, Mr Ong i think? Our dnt tcher. We realised he wore similar shirts to school everyday. So one day, someone used the whiteboard marker to make a mark on his shirt. The next day he came in, the dot was still on his shirt. So he really did wear the same shirt everyday. haha stupid stuffs.

Prawns so fresh, so fresh it's still wriggling in the container, and they would even jump out if it's not covered. 'Fighting prawns,' we call them. Brave souls held up their chopsticks and walked over, reaching out towards them tentatively. For the rest, pot covers became temporary shields. Finally, a prawn was successfully wedged in between the chopsticks. Just as it was about to be dropped into the boiling water, it jumped! we screamed! and 'plop!' It jumped to it's death into the Tom Yum soup.
and in the end, marshmallows and hot chocolate was the safer bet.
Strawberry eclairs and cream puffs dipped in tom yum soup. Not forgetting the sushi topped with shitload of wasabi. They were so delicious i puked them out 15mins after eating it. All because I lost to him in chi-ko-pa !

Chalet's over. It was great, me and yan hosted 'Don't forget the lyrics' and ended with Damai school song where everyone started singing tgt ahahaha. And we played musical chairs too. Battle of the classes, yu neng pri vs bedok west pri, 4e4 vs 4e5 etc etc etc. It would be fun if we knew each other this well during sec 3 camp eh.
So enjoyable. Have I ever told you how blessed I have always felt? That I have what I have.
No i dont ever wanna eat their curry chicken, if you get what i mean lol.
It might have been directed at me, if might have not. In any case, you killed everything that day. And I don't really give a damn, not anymore. Everything we had.. is no longer there.
